An exert of the story written by darkmesna about how Donovan the vampyre and Violacey(aka V) the violet vixen met:

“My my, you poor thing…” He said softly, letting a gloved hand rest on the back of her head. He then clicks his umbrella open, sheltering both of them from the rain. Her romantic fantasy of being embraced warmly even by a complete stranger was disturbed by the loud clap of thunder. With a yelp, her fur stood up and she gripped into the man further.

The stranger gave a chuckle. “Come on, my place isn’t far.” Gently wrapping his arm around her waist, he held her close as he guided out to the public streets. A few odd stares were given, but the stranger ignored them. Violacey on the other hand held on tightly to the man.
