Personality: Lacking largely. Like many Facemasks, Hollowface is hivemind linked. Or it was at one point. Although it was the Puppet Master, however it had a non Facemask telling it what to do. In that regard it very much was like a puppet. Now free, Hollowface resides with the Keh'kitteh of Whisperpool with Staccato's squad. Hollowface is very awkward around others, and seems incredibly slow to interact or respond with any emotion. It does have a deep rooted desire to try and help though. Still, Hollowface is a better follower than leader. It has no temper to speak of, but rather is very submissive, if not a tad shy and scared. If one messes with Hollowface's friends or rescuers though, it will come to their aid--ready for battle.

Background:
Hollowface was brought from the realm of Endless by the Bloodreapers at the order of the Ink Author along with a whole army of other Facemasks. It was then given to a Written, to help achieve the end goal of overthrowing the planet's rule and instating a new rule--a rule under the Written that would purge Shattermind of their unbelief of the Ink Author. Forced into being a Puppet Master over the rest of the hive, Hollowface itself operated as a puppet to the Written, carrying out any orders it was given by means of the hive. Hollowface itself neither wanted to be Puppet Master, nor send the others to their deaths as expendable assets, but carried out the orders obediently for fear of being hurt--which it had indeed already experienced.

The Written's plans were ruined regardless by a mixture of Distortion, the Dremm, the Symbol and the military forces of Shattermind. At that time, a lot of species had joined together to counter the threat, even the Keh'kitteh factions. It was decided upon the Written's temporary defeat that Hollowface would do best to go with the Keh'kitteh, as it was no danger to society by itself. This would make it more difficult for the Written to find again.
