Despite our best efforts, Deva's gained a reputation in our home world, and really developed as a trainer. She's gone from needing us to catch her Pokemon, to catching them herself, to literally having them seek her out to become members of her family.
As was the case, I'm told, with "Furfrou" here. She came right up to her, gave her the sad 'adopt me' eyes and snuggled right up to her.
Only problem is that the Pokedex we gave Deva didn't ping on her, so she needed to confirm with me.
I can't fault Deva for not recognizing a "Furfrou" when she sees one -- Pokemon only started appearing on her end of the Distortion World in the last decade. It's also worth noting that there are no humans there either, so she has trouble recognizing those too.
Puts me in an awkward position though. Should I tell Deva she's being deceived? Should I tell "Furfrou" that Deva's always wanted a pet human too? I don't want to spoil it for them -- they both look so happy with each other. But there are a lot of ways this could go awry, and I don't want "Furfrou" pissed off at me because I didn't tell her until after she's been-
Deva: "Tera? Why do you keep writing Furfrou's name in quotations?"
Tera: "Umm. . . No reason." ^_^;
