Brings back memories of the little bastards we were in school ... some of us (not me!) did similar, but with spit ...

I once had three classes in a row with the same set of four people...and in every class, one of those four people (a girl with perfect stereotypical 80's "big hair") sat in front of the rest of us. We tried to keep "the project" going for all three classes, but her friends noticed it in the hallway and that was that.

A great and funny story, it was fun reading.

I know, I stumbled across it totally by accident! I think it's from an online "How to use Photoshop" manual, or something.

I got a kick out of this, especially the class subject, which hits close to home for me. A fun read.

No, I'm an industrial electrician.

Oh, cool!

The closest I ever came to actually building a circuit was science fair project where I used a thermistor in the typical little oscillator with two transistors. You could dip the end of the thermistor into liquids and get a tone that varied with temperature; I had a chart with a little xylophone next to it that let people measure the temperature by tones.

All very useless and silly, but I still thought it was cool. Of course I didn't win.

You're theory was sound though, and the theory is similar to what's used in temperature sensing equipment. Minus the tones and xylophone, of course.

Fun humor and rather subdued. A nice pace.

Now that was downright playful and fun... very well written and made my too short lunch period all that much nicer.
