Been 'Owned' by chelonians for near twenty years going! They're amazingly expressive critters, each with their unique characteristics and mannerisms.
Always nice to see folks enjoy 'em!
Lots and LOTS of care/maintenance if you're gonna house 'em right, however. Far too much to go into here, but if you've any questions/concerns about it, please gimme a 'Shout'?
My one remaining (female), is Queen of her 75 gallon tank, complete with waterfall (they LUV da bubbles!), basking platform, rocks/'cave'/etc. to play around with (and rearrange to her heart's content).
Does your female have a name yet? (And, she's gonna get a LOT bigger, just so ya know!)
