THis brings back one of my earliest vore memories. MY dad delivered firewood for a couple of winters when I was about 12 years old. So we had piles of cut up wood in the empty lot next to our house. Whenever dad got an order, we would all go out and fill up the dump truck with a cord of wood. But these piles of wood were perfect habitat for the field mice, and here we were taking it away. So we'd get the random mouse underneath running for cover as we picked up pieces of wood.
One time our dog was out there watching us and he saw the mouse. He jumped after it and with a quick snatch and gulp, turned the mouse into his snack. While the dog was not burdened with an excessive number of brain cells, all of them paid attention to food. So whenever we were loading up the truck with wood, the dog was out there watching and waiting. And whenever a mouse made it's run for cover, dog was ready and waiting for his warm fuzzy snack.
I used to wait and watch for the mice, and watch the dog snatch them up, flick them up into the air and then catch them, head up and a couple of chews to line them up and then, gulp. I found that really interesting and exciting. Never said anything about it to anyone, until years later.
