That reminds me of an idea I had to open a steakhouse in a college town with a really good math program, and the ads could say, "Our prime rib is so big you won't be able to prove it's prime!"

Arrrgh, the hated, mercury-filled, Communist-supporting, artwork destroying CFL!!!

(It's true, they contain mercury vapor, a broken bulb is a hazmat situation; CFL's are only made in China; They put out much more UV than 'traditional' bulbs, yellowing paper and attacking pigments and binders)

I'm just going to hoard enough incandescent bulbs to last until the LED-based lighting goes fully mainstream. (You can get LED bulbs now, but they're pricey if you want ones not made in China, and the light output isn't quite up to incandescent levels yet. LED bulbs last 10-20 years though, so they're wonderful for hard to change closet bulbs, and for softly-lit rooms such as bedrooms.

At least I can draw one, which is more than can be said for Bruce Tinsley ("Mallard Fillmore"). :}

Yuppers, I must admit that it looks good for a CFL render, although most of the ones you find on the shelves have a clear shell of polycarbonate resin protecting the fragile glass.

If it were only that simple.
