Soar higher, higher... the wind whistles past my ears and billows through my hair. And at the apex there is a brief moment ... no longer than a second where all is suspended, frozen and transfixed. Letting go of the rope, the last tangible and physical anchor.

Thrust forward from the momentum. It's just a moment, it cannot last. It never was meant to. But here, right now ... I'm flying. The ground will come for me soon enough. For now, I'm enjoying the freedom and defiance of gravity. Nothing else matters but this precious moment.

May your flight be as transcendent as this. Trust me, your gonna fall. It might even hurt. Get up, dust yourself off. Swing again and . . . fly.
