I'm really, really tempted to draw my OWN conclusion to this. I imagine Becky drowning Ms. Claus in her own pie and splitting Nackles' head with that oversized butcher knife.

Seriously though, I thought you were going places with this character. Watching her get put down like this is immensely frustrating. I hope this is only a "death" by the Xena/Marvel Comics definition of the term.

There's a minor swerve and play on the "poisoned apple" trope on the previous page. The pie is fine and Becky isn't poisoned; it's the <i>milk</i> that knocks her out, because warm milk is good for making kids sleep, so of course here of all places warm milk is like a downy, loving punch to their stupid still-forming skulls.

It's kind of funny that right after seeing the truth behind so many pretty Christmas trappings, Becky instantly falls for another one. She is well indoctrinated. [insert trolling religion comments here]
