A 1:72 scale plastic model F-106A interceptor with weapons bay open and missiles out. A Hasegawa kit with aftermarket decals by Bare Metal depicting an F-106 of the 191st Tactical Fighter Wing based at Selfridge ANG Base. T-33A Silver Star in the background also depicts a jet from the same unit back in the 1970s. Almost got a joy ride in a T-33, but a few of them crashed out in the thumb area of the state. The 191st TFW transitioned to F-4Cs, then to F-16s before changing to the 191st Airlift Group--flying C-130s ffrom 1999 to 2007.
