THIS IS NOT AN UPDATED REF
I was messing around with the ref pic of AnpuRa and decided to play with his colours a bit.
I gave him a two toned colouring instead of his normal full grey. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13274727/
I'm not sure if I will use this as his normal colours as I like his normal grey palate, but I thought it looked interesting. I figured I'd post it here in scraps just so people could see it.

maybe, I have thought about changing his colour scheme off and on but I'm not sure yet. I do like the solid grey look I have. I mainly used that because where Anubis was all black and AnpuRa is a wolf which are tones of grey mostly. I figured an Anubis Werewolf would be all grey.
While this two-tone pattern does make your clothing and accessories really stand out more, it honestly doesn't "feel" like your character. Take it from someone who's already got a two-tone pattern. ;)
If the white chest and belly parts were a darker grey, he'd definitely give off an Anubian jackal-type vibe, though.

Yeah, I had the same feeling, it really didn't feel like my character. AnpuRa really isn't a jackal, he's a wolf. Though I think the two toned look is interesting, I think I might stay with the solid grey. It might be simple but it feels more like me. ^,..,^
This was fun for a "What if..." pic nonetheless
