I had nearly waited 6 months alone for the chance to comission this, but it was definetely worth the wait.

Well, first of all, they are useful.
Boots are sturdy, protect feet from injuries and grant a great bit of treading stability.
Take a wild guess why pilcemen, soldiers or firefighters wear boots.
And in Rock's case - aside from all the reasons above - they make him look more bad ass.
