Now, while I love all of my "Mind Friends" equally, I realize that some of them take different jobs. For example, in two times of my life where I was most frightened, and unable to sleep, I realized that all that I feared was in my mind, so all I needed was a "Mental Bodyguard".
The Mental Bodyguards are there to make the person feel safe in situations where they fear the irrational and impossible.
Sometimes, the bodyguard is the fear the person has, which is also helpful, as it allows the person to conquer their fear rather than simply feel safer.
Sometimes, the person becomes more difficult to scare after obtaining a Mental Bodyguard. This was the case with me. I was practically unscarable from the time I met the Tails Doll to the time FNaF came out, and I met Foxy.
