Cockatiels are excellent companions

My favorite type of bird by far.

My aunt has about 4 right now mostly rescues, she also used to have a green cheek conure but she passed away about a month ago. One of those cockatiels was a latino but you could barely tell because of the nicotine stains.

Your aunt sounds like a great person man, and both of those types are beautiful; especially the lutino, they come in such gorgeous colors.

I'm alright now. Back then my sister and my mom told me they were crying when they had to put down our cat and my sister showed show pics and recorded videos on her phone when they were at the doctor with our cat. It was sad,I never thought losing a pet would affect me. I think had these grieving feelings at those days I don't know. , But I'm really fine now. It's a sad thing, losing a pet. I've lost two dogs in my lifetime and I miss them dearly. However, I always believe that pets don't live as people because unlike people who have to learn how to make people happy, pets make us happy from day one. The stars that shine twice as bright live half as long. Even so, we wish they could stay for longer... This is a lovely piece, very emotional. Using your character makes this piece feel even more gentle and close; I don't think a bird and bear would get on this well in reality. The magic of art allows that to outstanding effect.

You're definitely right. They're here to be loved and that's it. I'd say my bird and I were very close, so drawing this helped ease the pain I felt.

Yeah that's how I've learned to deal with the whole thing, I'll always have the memories that we had together.
