VIOLET not blue >.=.>
I'll get really mad if you say
"Ohhh.. a wonderful black and BLUE dragon you have there" etc.
I raged many times because of that, and I also blocked someone for annoying me with it... So be careful...

It is violet.
there are 57 red pieces mixed with the 255 blue-pieces
255/57= 4,47
100/4,47=22,37
so the color consists of 77,63% Blue and 22,37% Red
and per definition a violet hast to consist of at least 20% to be a violet, if not it's still blue.
But it also depends on your monitor settings if you don't see a clear difference.
For example on my Tablet my color (3900ff) is light-blue, and the difference is almost unnoticable, because my Tablet screen does have a bad contrast and saturation

you DO realize there's more blue pigment than red. it's far from violet. plus, if you acknowledge it's hard to figure it out due to monitor settings, how do you expect people to realize what kind of color is it??? it's not like everyone measures a color with the eye dropper to see what kind of color it is. THIS is Violet http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Violet_%28color%29 , yours it's just more blue than anything else /:
Finally a 'normal' comment without provoking or annoying content.
The Color #3900ff may be an ultramarine, but for me... I know it is a violet... but it also has to do with the character's story... the 'violet' color is glowing a little, so this is why the difference appears, and the violet is looking more blue-ish.
Thanks for the lecture about the color theory. I will read it as soon as possible.
Also thanks for the compliment about my sona :3
P.S. I kinda like the word 'ultramarine' now xD
