I’ve seen tons of these Crystal Gem OCs about the place, so I wanted to have a go at designing my own!
This here is Obsidian. She may look a bit scary, but she is in fact very righteous, if very gruff. While she prefers to work alone, she is ready and willing to work with other gems if the need is had. She is elegant in motion, yet charged and targeted. The weapon she can summon from the gem in her chest is a gleaming black broadsword.
I know the hands are a little weird, but I just wanted to get this design idea across the best I could c:
Photoshop CC 2015, ~1 Hour, mostly done with the pen and shape tools.
