Tiberium sun O.o funny i remembre several things mostly its blurry but i remembre....shotgunners ,umm...the obelisk...an under terrain burrier unit transport thing....and some other ...stuff but i dont think i ever saw any other enemys besides the NOD in there

In my experience its nicer to be like "eh they are ok" and then be their friend because you know them, not a sudden "OMG I LOVE YOU AND UR ART" because its based on one thing. Art.

yeah I like him as the guy, but I must admit the art is what gomt me to first talk to him XD I jokingly say I'm a stereoptypical fanboy, but I'm not very serious about it. ^^ He's a great artist and a friend. Stupid timezones and scheduals keep us from having more time to chat and oC though XD

Westwood > EA ... just take a look of "C&C General" against RA2 ... the result is evident, no ?

to be fair, C&C Generals was a good game, but it had no business flaunting the C&C title.

It's a point of view but, imo without any videos with real characters, the game loses a really important part which had made the charm of the C&C & RA licences.

Depends, personally I don't miss the cut sequences, I just feel that a lot of the original franchise was simply lost because EA is (as usuall) puttin git's titles out as contest/arcade games...just look at the multiplayer maps, says it all...

It's really a bad point that Westwood was bought back by EA...

Not to mention that many of the designs for C&C 3 sucked >_>

Ah yes, the tiberium fiends of old. I remember those. Unfortunately C&C 3 drives me up a wall, even on easy the NOD start spawning Stealth tanks up the ying yang. I couldn't even get to the scrim.

*shrug* I'm through the GDI campaign...NOD is what's bothering me a bit...

I got a copy of the level/mission editor for TS, and RA2. As soon as I work out the bugs ( it hates C&C TFD, lol) I'm gonna make my own missions.

*shi nods and sighs* aye i agree i remember them... the only one left now is the tiberium viceroids as fang put it. the accident creation when one of the scrin units sprays infantry with its tiberium liquid weapon :P chem tank style almost. *laughs and sighs8 man westwood had it good.. then they got bought out >.< and i have not heard of anything new coming from the company that was made from a bunch of former westwood guys who got back together. that petrogylph company... :/ just the EMpire at war series then they went poof.

Actually, after a quick look at Wikipedia Pteroglyph is still around, have a website, and have made a second game called Universe at War: Earth Assault. They just seem rather slow at turnout due to their small size (compared to major companies that can turn out multiple games simultaneously)

I miss those buggers too, but I must admit that I usually just gunned them down rather than tried to use them... I've never been very good at C&C, even though I'm usually very good at strategy games
