Pi Day (March 14th) comes by every year, but this year we have Super Pi Day (3/14/15). So, of course, one must celebrate such a momentous occasion with something relevant. Sure, it isn't furry, but there are baking and cooking groups on FA. And it was made by me.
Thus, the Overstuffed Banoffee Pie!
-One Graham Cracker Crust (either homemade, or if you're lazy like me, pre-purchased)
-Two cans of Sweetened Condensed Milk
-Four Bananas
-Raisins
-Cinnamon and Cocoa powder to taste
1. Boil the cans of condensed milk for 3 Hours, making sure that the liquid doesn't boil away (keep a pitcher on hand and refill it as needed, usually about 3-4 times). Let cans rest for 15 minutes after.
2. In Pie crust, slice 1.5 bananas in half and long-ways, place even layer on bottom.
3. Scoop 1 can of boiled condensed milk (should be now a softened toffee) over bananas.
4. Add layer of sliced banana rounds, raisins, dusted cinnamon and cocoa.
5. Scoop other boiled condensed milk over that.
6. Apply more banana on top.
7. Refrigerate, serve with whipped cream.
On top, I've placed 3 banana strips, and 14 slices, Thus, 3.14.
