All civility vanished. Powerful, dangerous magic welled up inside Lupis. The bloodlust he had been suppressing now surged through his body. His pulse rose to a feverish pitch, and a flood of light poured through his body.
Black clouds of magic surrounded Lupis as he dove through the air, each wisp with the power of a thousand stars. Lupis charged toward Lobos, making no attempt to dodge the magic his foe threw at him.
"Give yourself up to me!" Lobos roared.
Lupis didn't answer. He howled like a savage as he collided with Lobos and hit him with the power of a detonating star.
