Yet another propaganda image based on sergals.
Not sure if the faded strikes came out as good as I wanted.
based on another real poster, sadly Russian letters seem to of changed from the ones they used in the 60's because Google translate didn't make much sense.
It says: "Drummers beat a lie". Not sure if that makes any sense. :I
anyway enjoy, might make more if I find more good source materials.

Nice pic, but words have no sense.
You have written like "Beat the drummer's lie". Maybe you meant hammers? Because drummers on russian: 1) who plays drumms 2) term for a superproductive worker in the Soviet Union (wiki).
If you meant the hammers, then "Бьем по лжи молотами" or "Молоты бьют (побеждают/win) a lie" or "Победим ложь молотом" (Beat a lie with hammers).

The letters haven't changed, but the fonts used in the design and the usual sentence structures have changed, which can cause some mishaps. Actually, it would make sense if you just change the declension of the last word and write "БЬЕМ ПО ЛЖИ УДАРНИКАМИ". In English, this would translate roughly as "the best workers beat the lie" or "we, as the best workers, beat the lie." :)
