Thought I let you guys all see my current slow progress to a commission I took on for  Siman-Clifton, hooked me on for my love of WWII and such a nice dashing tank old chap.
So this is my first pilot test commission, Simon has paid me and gave him discount for since my first test run of trying something like this (lot of learn curve to me on this) ... and on a detailed scale like this too (DAMN MY ACCURACY/DETAIL WHORINGNESS!). For the commission he requested a lineart of a Comet tank with open hatches, stationary, from this angle, and have the mantlet cover on.

Fun facts!
This image is only 50% of original file size, lol.
That gun sight vane on top of the turret was a complete bitch to do, very few photos of them to reference on.
Have been using over 45 pictures as references to do this picture.

Still working on the commander's copula, hence the floating layer above it, the road wheels, return wheels, drive wheels, tracks, external equipments (lights, tow cable?, track piece?, etc.), and open turret hatches.
