The mental aspect of it, I love tinkering with my characters as the animal instincts slowly emerge. Plus me if you find yourself in the body of an animal with a human mind, you'd have a breakdown. Not to mention you wouldn't know how to use the body.

The mental aspect is beautiful. But sometimes the lack of mental TF is just as fascinating. To see how the mind adjusts.

I don't see how it would adjust. To the mind would break under the strain, and the biggest issue is, you don't know how to use the body. These can be really bad, especially if you find yourself a prey species. or if you are a bird, without instincts, how would the human mind work out how to fly?

What if some human just gets turned into a snake and put in his own cage to keep him out of harm's way? Or even like switching bodies with his pet snake and they both retain human intelligence?

I really like this story. It describes a lot of what I like about transformation. It's not a fetish for me, its a fascination with seeing things from a different perspective. The writing for me is a chance to get away from the worries of my life for just a bit and let my imagination run wild. My only disagreement with this story is I like transformations to be permanent, otherwise it lessens the impact of the change.
