ok, for starters, this page looks amazingly drawn, keep up the great work!
I love the detail you put into the muscles of when she flexes asking for a hard one, it shows how far you have come in your journey of becoming a amazing artist.
The next few chapters should be interesting, especially since their act of love making was peeped upon by meeka, and was being stared at from what i would believe, the entire sparing match their having, sorry i mean magical attack match.

That would be a "that's what she said joke".. but a 'she' already said it.. except by the look on meekas face she'd possibly not mind being the one to say it instead.
so..
"That's-what-she-wanted-to-say"-joke? Yep that was way too much thought for a joke.
TL;DR: Meeka (maybe) wants to say she wants a hard one.

So... I went back in the comic, read through the part where they exstinguish the fire and get abducted by Akah'nen, and assumed that somewhere in the background, hidden, I would find Sha as bystander, looking; then I would've come back here and complimented you on your foreshadowing genius etc etc.
But GUESS WHAT! She wasn't there. At least not visible.
So... disappointed, Fer. I'm reeeaallly disappointed. :I

Maybe I'll go in a monastery, if I can get those muscles :3
And maybe learn that strange, smokey-inky magic :3 How do you call it? And how does it work?
Hehe, sory if I ask stupid questions but this magic thing really fascinates me
On a more... naughty side, I wonder if she will D the Headmistress

If you do, you better be ready to get your ass whooped for 3-4 months straight to muscle up like she did ;) The magic, on the other hand, at least that form of it, can only be learned by black-tips. Out of all the forms, it's the one that requires the most focus and energy to maintain, and the highest accuracy to perform, hence the need for a blackened tail tip. Other forms, such as fire or water, can be performed with any part of your body that can be used as a focus, such as blue fingertips, red toes, etc, so long as there's a color separation from your main color to the focus point. It's sorta like using your body as a paint brush, you can't paint if there's no paint on your brush.
The way it works, physically, is that the caster opens a connection, sort of a warp between the prime realm and their particular power realm, and siphon magic essence through this to create their element. In the case of the shadow form, Hadalen, it's a power realm whose specific purpose appears to be to contain absolute nothingness, and so when you open a connection and imprint an idea or a thought onto it, the realm shoots that thought back at you as a physical object. And that's how a Hadalen mage can summon physical items from nothingness. :)

Damn, to get those muscles and abilities, I'd stay 5 years in that monastery!!
Mmmh... you mentioned black tail tip... But can't any black tipped part of the body do? Fen did that awesome punch on the dragon with that energy... and her hand was black right? That mean, as long as you got black on you, you can use that form of magic?
Also, in the first chapter, There's a mention of "commons", here meaning not black tip tailed ones... But isn't there a school that use the "light" instead of the "dark", like those 2 gods?
And... How can you summon something from nothingness? You mean that this "nothingness" take the "form" of an "object" the caster think about?
NORMALLY only a black tail tip can be used as a focus for Hadalen magic. Fenfen isn't normal, as we've come to understand.. And neither is Vix, you might notice she does NOT have a color shift in her tail.
As for light, that's a legend, and there are no known Vitrin mages at this time. http://www.furaffinity.net/full/13420866/ Here's a list of the various magic forms. :)
How can you summon something from nothingness? Well, imagine you have a cup that cannot hold anything at all, no air, no liquid, not even a single thought. What happens when you pour water into it? It rejects the water and shoots it back at you. Hadalen's realm works basically the same way, but it's impossible to reflect something that has no physical form, such as a thought or idea, and as a result, what it pushes back at you is a physical item. It's a bit of a brain twister, but it makes sense if you don't think about it ;D

"If I don't think about it" ?? HAHAHAHA, very funny Well, if you say it like that, it's actually way more clearer... Strange right? I'm said to be an alien sometime... Hahaha! But why only a black tip tail? I mean, why not a black hand or fingernail like you said others magic can do? And those that mean that any black tipped person can learn the "black" magic? Cause you mentioned red pandas but surely other species can learn it, right?
Fenfen is clearly half dragon XD And Vix is... well.. completely black, excepted those marks on the lips that still are strange for me XD
Ok, you explained the manifestation of an item, such as a staff or a whip... But how about the smoke that the two are training with? I don't think one of them summoned a cloud from the void... Also, there's a mention of "spells"... What are spells when you just conjure an item?
PS
Sorry if I bother you but your comic is so interesting I can't help but going deeper than the story

Only black tail tips because the tail is the brush, and it requires a full, highly accurate focus like a well trained tail to connect and conjure the essence from Hadalen. Red pandas aren't the only ones with black tail tips, but they're among the few that are born with a natural affinity for the art, and most of them have a black tip with long tails, which makes it easier to learn and focus the energy.
The smoke they're training with is just raw void essence, which appears during any summon. It's the basis for all Hadalen magic, the first thing anyone learns to create, since that is what forms the summoned item. And it's also the difference between "spells" and summons, for instance when they put out the barn fire, they used raw essence to cause a rapid expansion within it. And that's a spell, more so than a summon. That same essence could've been used to form a summon as well, but what do you summon that can fight a fire better than an explosion of air and void power? :p

Well, thy could have created a huge black bucket full of black water Hahaha!
Even so, it was just creating lot of that smoke right? It's just like summoning that little cloud but in bigger, beside being more tiring, it shouldn't be that much different...
You think you'll introduce more species that can use that art? Like... Cats, raccoons or foxes? (I've read that foxes have either white tips or black tips... I had an idea for a fox character but... Eh, it was just an idea, I don't think you'd be interested in...)
I now wonder: how can the headmistress teach that art? From what I saw... she's all white with a faint blue... And more naked that dressed when she has clothes on!! (she's the hottest character I saw for now ) That dragoness doesn't have a black tipped tail... Or fur!!

I'm pretty much full up on characters and planned characters for book 1. Hadalen mages are rare to begin with, too, so probably not gonna see any other such. :)
As for Mis'Alia, well.. She's a guardian, that makes her special ;) We'll learn why soon enough..

Hmm, well, let's see.. We're gonna be at 100 pages on our 2 year anniversary in april, I probably have another.. 150 pages to go for book 1, most likely. It's insane how slow progress is for this comic, I might have to start working on ways to crank up the pace a little.. Either way, probably another 4 years, if things keep going like this. If I drop my day job and start producing full time comics, I can do 3 pages a week and suddenly things are going way quicker.
4 years!? I hope to leave that long
But I don't want you to lose your job over a comic... Even if you do, it would take you 50 weeks (almost 2 months) to do all the pages after April... I wish I could help you but my drawing really suck... The pic I use now as my avatar is my best job, so I wouldn't be much of help...
Wait book 1? How many books are you planning?

Lol!! Ops, sorry! I suck at math too it seems XD It's almost one year!!! I doubt you want to quite your job for so long...
2 books... Sounds good to me
Say, I had a though, the things the mages conjure through the void follow the normal physic laws? Weight, mass and such? Or it's possible to create something huge but weightless? Like that huge water filled bucket I mentioned before?

I could quit my job just fine if I had other ways to make money. Such as through a big, epic comic ;)
The summons usually follow the laws of physics, but a skilled mage can bend the rules, or even break them. So yes, you COULD summon a huge bucket of shadow-water, but I wouldn't advise drinking it, that's for sure..

Lol, me neither!! Though I wonder what taste has shadow-water ;)
You know, I never understood the difference between breaking the law and bending it...
And, selling your comic? Mmmh... It could work, but maybe not alone... If you know the comic "Dreamkeepers", There are several people working behind it, and they sell more than just the comic. Personally, I couldn't buy it, not because of lack of money, I have some, but I don't trust paypal at all! Had troubles with it once and nearly lost 500 Euro!
So, I may be a little selfish on that but I'd prefer you keep you job and we get a slow comic...
