(A camera starts recording and it shows an English Canine male with a light brown fur color, who looks to be around his 20s and he was pretty slim in body shape. He was dressed in what looked like university school uniform, and he was also wearing glasses. The location of recording seemed to be in what looked like the young student's dorm room.)
" Vlog number 1." The Canine said close to the camera, before sitting on a chair in order to get into the center of the picture. "Greetings everyone. This will be the first of the many Vlogs, helping to document the journey that me and my studying partner Sverrir will take during our expedition over to Bulgaria to see what we can find out about the legend of The Horse from Hell."
"The legend tells about a creature that is described as The Devil himself in a Stallion Shape.
(The Canine then picks up a picture of a sketch and holds it up to the camera.)
"As you can see the name comes from how the creature has what looks like a flaming mane and tail, and skeleton like tattoos all over the body. It also is said to have two horns sticking out from it's head, being 8 feet tall, and red glowing eyes. It's really makes it look like something taken from the dark and wicked dark times. This sketch of the creature is about 20 years old, but reports has been said as soon as last week about locals seeing this thing still walking around."
"The expedition will consist of me Ian Mckellster, and my study partner Sverrir Hauksson, a Husky wolf from Iceland. Unlike me, who is the more analytic and (as you can see through these Vlogs) the one making sure to keep all kinds of progress stored and recorded for further studying, he is more the one that likes to test the physical limits on what a car can take in high speed by driving it very quickly (and recklessly) then just doing the math of it." (The Canine looked slightly annoyed for a second by talking about his partner, but then quickly acted like nothing of it and continued.)
"This is all a part of one of our final exams, and the university has been truly generous as to giving us both some money for the flight tickets and as payment for when we will be staying at some hotel, and for equipment, and..." Ian said before the sound of a door opening out of camera was heard, and then someone's voice.
"Hey there Ian! Are you doing your Vlog thingies?" The voice said, before a husky wolf that most likely was Sverrir came into the picture.
He was also slim like his friend Ian, but while Ian was just thin with nothing to add, Sverrir had a well toned and muscular body that he liked to show off. (As his cloth style could clearly tell.) Instead of going with the traditional School uniforms Sverrir was wearing an open vest with no shirt, baggy and ripped jeans, sneakers, and an attitude that was so much polar opposite to Ian's that you could get.
Trying to keep his cool while recording Ian said "Yes I am, and I would appreciate if you could have the decency to knock before entering next time."
"Whatever." Sverrir said and shrugged his shoulders. "Is it okay if I take some of that money you keep in that glass jar? I could need a few bucks." The wolf said, and went into the jar with his hands without even waiting for an answer.
"That money is for our journey Sverrir!" Ian said, this time sounding less good at hiding his frustration.
"Eh, we're going to a poor country like Bulgaria. What is 1 US Dollar worth there even? Probably a 100." Sverrir said, and Ian had to admit that there could be something in what he said there.
"True, but still we got this money from the school's personal funds, and we should try to only use this at the most and foremost responsibility..." Ian said before seeing that Sverrir was already starting leaving the room, with a hand full of money from the glass jar. "Okay, thanks, bye." He said before disappearing down the hall.
Still sitting in his chair Ian just sighed, rested his palms on his face, and said to himself (But still loud enough for the camera to catch it). "This will be a LONG journey."
.................................................................................................................................
(A new camera starts up, (a handhold on this time.) and now the location is outside, with Ian holding the camera against himself. Sverrir is also seen just behind him as they are both walking down what looks like a street in a small village. They where also both carrying big backpacks now.)
"Vlog number 12. It has now been about a week since we got to Bulgaria, and ever since landing we have been doing our best trying to find any traces to where the mystical Demon Horse might be found. Right now we are on our way heading towards a house where it live a man that has been said to have seen the beast several times by the locals." Ian was saying to the camera before Sverrir had to interrupt.
"Why don't you add in the fact that we have found nothing, neil, none!" He shouted. (Being a bit behind Ian and all.)
"It would help if you also had tried some on finding clues, instead of having me do all the work." Ian said, turning away from the camera to tell him.
"Whatever." Sverrir said, and walked out of frame. "I will just take a quick smoke break! I'll catch up with you in no time!" He shouted as Ian continued to walk alone.
While he was outside of Sverrir's hearing distance Ian turned back his attention to the camera and said, "Sverrir hasn't been the best working partner if I say so. While I each night has been going through all the notes and files on what progress we have made, he decides to spend the nights hanging in every bar we find. Spending a ridiculously amount of our money on booze and girls. I even found him one time in bed with a vixen girl, and he was planning to use the cameras to film it! It was luckily that I found them before they started anything and took the cameras from them." Just at that moment he could hear Sverrir catching up to him again, and he decided to stop his ranting.
"Are we there yet?" The wolf asked, trying to sound as annoying as he could for his friend, knowing how much he hated that.
"This is the 63rd time you said that, but in this case the answer is yes." Ian the canine said, and pointed the camera towards a lonely house, laying just outside the woods. "This is where he lives. This is where we will be able to find the man that could be the key into finding the legendary Demon Horse." Ian said as they both walked closer to the front door and knocked on it.
The door half open and a older rodent looking male looked out, but as soon as he saw that he was being filmed he closed the door again.
"Okay...I think I know what's the problem is here." Ian said and turned over to Sverrir, and handed him over the camera. "Here, take this." He said.
"Sure, but why are you giving me the it?" Sverrir asked, as he was filming Ian.
"The man seems pretty uncomfortable with being filmed, so I think that if I just walk over and talk to him alone he might be more open." Ian said, and walked back to the house.
Being alone Sverrir this time took the chance to point the camera to himself, and say so things he had on his heart. "So...Hey there. I guess. I'm Sverrir, and I'm just hanging along with Ian on this so that I can get some easy grades. It's a bit annoying to be some weird foreign place like this, but I shouldn't complain. Ian has been doing most of the works, and I have been having nothing but fun and parties every night...Also if there is any females watching this wanting to have a wild night with me, then I'll let you know that I'm free for the moment. Especially for you Professor Watson. I have seen the looks you have been giving me. You like these muscles, admit it."
(Right at that moment Sverrir noticed Ian coming back, and moved the camera over to show him.)
"So how did it go?" The wolf asked the Canine, who answered "It went pretty well. I got him to unintentionally tell me where we should go."
"What do you mean unintentionally?" Sverrir asked, almost sounding more like he didn't get the word itself then the sentence Ian said.
"Even thought he didn't intended to he did warn us to "Don't go out to the woods during nighttime". Which obliviously means that this is where we will find what we are looking for." Ian said, before getting quiet for a short time.
"What is it?" Sverrir asked.
"It's just that when describing the Demon Horse for him, he did seem to understand what I was talking about, but instead of calling it any of the known names it has been given he instead called it мазнини смърт." Ian said.
"And that means...?" Sverrir asked, obliviously not knowing any Bulgarian.
"Oh! Sorry. He repeated those words again and again, and it means in English "Fat Death". Ian said confused.
.................................................................................................................................
(A new camera starts, and this time the place for filming is in the woods. It's also very dark, and the camera is filming in night vision. You can also not see Ian as he speaks, as he is using a camera strapped on top of his head. It also has a small flashlight to help Ian see in the dark.)
"Vlog number 23. After getting the clues that hints on that the legendary Demon Horse is hiding in the woods Sverrir and I have been taking up camp in here during the night in order to try and see it eye to eye. I have also taken with me several of my own inventions to help with the mission. I have a specially made flashlight that can generate enough light to lit up this whole place like it was daytime, a Compass that also shows the current time and temperature, and a lot of other small things. We have been staying up almost all night. It is 05:00AM right now, and in just about one hour from now the sun will raise, so we don't have much time left to search for tonight." Ian's voice said, as he was looking around through the entire camp site, in order to show the viewers how it all looked like.
"This is officially the WORST. DAY. EVER. of this trip." Sverrir said loudly, making Ian look over at his direction. (Also getting his camera to face him.)
"You know that you haven't done much to help make it easier?" Ian said, finally starting to feel very feed up with his lazy partner.
"What am I suppose to do? Shall I just light with my flashlight at some random bushes, and that will make the horse suddenly appear..." Sverrir said and waved his flashlight at some bushed behind him, and suddenly they both heard a sound of something moving from behind them!
Pointing their flashlights over there they both got speechless as they saw it coming out and being gazed in the moonlight. There it was. The Demon Horse!
It looked just like the old sketch Ian had seen. (Or at least for the most parts.) It had the horns, skeleton marks, and flaming mane like the image and stories said. They had also had no ideas of what colors it would have, but the one they where looking at had purple fur, and the mane and tail was burning white fires. Something else they didn't thought it would have was a few hundreds of extra pounds on it's frame, with a belly that was hanging down almost to the ground, and about twice as wide as the rest of his body. (And also the eyes where glowing yellow instead of red.) The stallion still sported some very thick and muscular legs, that Ian knew probably could knock the life out of anyone that would dare to laugh at the creature's fatness.
And right on queue Sverrir had to start bursting out laughing his lungs out over what he saw. "Seriously?! This is the dangerous thing that we have been searching for?" He said and started moving over to the huge horse.
"Stop! What are you doing Sverrir?!" Ian asked, scared over his friend's actions.
"Don't you get it? This is no monster or demon. It's just some farmers fat horse that they have painted like this just to try and scare us." Sverrir said as he smacked the fat belly of the horse, and lighted his flashlight into it's eyes.
That was something he would regret gravely, as that made the beast step back like it was hurt, and feel like it was getting attacked. It's eyes switched colours and now glow an angry Red that the stories had told about, and it started doing what any animal in it's situation would do. It started to defend itself against it's attacker. (But not in the way that any of them thought it would be like.)
Before Sverrir had a chance to move out of the way the horse dived it's head down, opened up it's mouth wide, and took in the Wolf's head and shoulders. (Which his arms pinned to his sides as well.)
Sverrir tried his best to get free but it was hopeless. Even thought he was pretty big with his own set of muscles, he was still pretty easy for the enormous beast to fit in it's mouth and throat.
He was still a bit lucky in this situation, because since the horse didn't see him as food in the first place it wasn't trying to crush his bones with it's teethes, but instead simply have him sent away down into it's stomach to be taken care of there.
A few more quick gulps did the job, and Sverrir was no more standing next to the big horse, and instead inside of it. (And even though there was hardly any difference on signs showing that the big stallion's belly was full or empty, there was moments when you could see bulges of Sverrir's arms and legs trying to punch through the thick fat walls surrounding his prision.)
After licking it's lips a few times the horse seemed satisfied, and started to make it's way away from this place, all while Ian had just been standing there, not able to believe what he had just been witnessing.
.................................................................................................................................
Ian was currently in a big cluster with his thoughts and emotions right now. He was happy for actually finding the supernatural legend that they had been searching for, chocked and scared over just how intimidating it was up close and in real live, and stressed and panicked over that it had eaten his friend in from of his eyes, and if he didn't do anything quickly it would disappear into the woods and have him digested!
Looking around after something, anything to use as a way to save Sverrir, Ian looked at his left hand, where he hold his self-made flashlight, and got an idea. It was a pretty risky thing and would most likely end with him too dying, but it was still better then doing nothing at all.
As the Demon Horse was making it's way back into the deeper parts of the forest, it suddenly got a stone tossed right into the back of it's head.
Turning around (more annoyed then angry this time) the horse saw what looked in it's eyes like a "puny little mammal" waving it's arms and shouting at it.
"Hey fatty! You forgot your second course!" Ian shouted and flashed his flashlight into the stallion's eyes, making it truly angry again.
If this canine wants to join his friends, then the Demon Horse was more then happy to make his wish come true.
As the tall horse went up close to him Ian just hold his flashlight close to his body as he got taken in by the horse mouth. Since he made no kind of resistance the Demon Horse took it's time to enjoy the taste in this one. (Plus also taking him in head first with his camera still attached to his head, gave the one later watching these images a great detailed showing of the insides of the mythological creature, and how it eats and swallows it's food.)
After feeling done with the tasting the Horse swallowed Ian up, and he later joined Sverrir inside the belly of the beast.
"Oh, man. Did the beast get you too when you tried to escape?" Sverrir asked, while wiping saliva and stomach juices of his face.
"Actually I had the creature eat me on purpose." Ian said, making it sounds as the most normal thing to say.
"What?! Are you crazy?" Sverrir said, not believing what he was hearing.
"It's okay. I think I have a plan that might let us both out of here with our lives." Ian said as a try to calm his friend down, but that only made him more scared.
"Might?! Why not just give me a gun to end my suffering right now?" Sverrir said.
"Trust me. This will work. I'm going to put this thing on it's highest setting, and when I tell you to cover your eyes, do it!" Ian said as he was working his flashlight with his slippery fingers.
"Okay. On the count of three I will press it. Ready?" Ian asked, and Sverrir responded by covering his eyes with both his hands. "Ready." He said.
"Okay. 1. 2. 3!" Ian said as he pressed the button with one hand, and covered his eyes with his other arm.
(Had there been some camera filming outside of the Demon Horse's body that camera would have captured how that belly suddenly would start to light up like a huge light bulb! It was glowing so powerfully that the Horse first thought that it had swallowed the sun itself, and tried desperately to fight the pains it felt. After only a few seconds (That felt like painstakingly long hours for the stallion.) of it the horse knew what it needed to do to end it, and started trying to cough what it had been eaten back up again.)
From inside Ian and Sverrir would have been completely blind now if they hadn't covered their eyes. (But it almost felt like it wasn't helping.) Sverrir was just about to ask what part 2 of Ian's plan was, when they both felt a strange rumbling in the stomach. All of the sudden they both found themselves on their way up it's throat again, but this time they where heading up.
First Sverrir came out, and then followed by Ian, who still was holding his flashlight in a tight grip. Once they all where hurled up the Demon Horse took and run deep into the woods as fast as it could in order to get away from the horrible light. (Which was a pretty funny sight, as it's big stomach was bounching into the ground with each step.)
Once the horse was truly gone did Ian turn off the flashlight, and they both could open their eyes again.
"Wow, we survived! But how?" Sverrir asked his friend, who answered "When trying to figure out a way to save you I remember the old man telling me about how the creature was only seen during night time, and that made me think that maybe it was only seen during nights cause it couldn't survive in the days."
"So when you lighted up your flashlight..." Sverrir started saying, "I managed to make it act like it was an artificial sun." and Ian finished.
"I'm don't know what to say now. I got eaten, and instead of saving your own skin you can back to help me." Sverrir said, clearly taken by everything that has happen. "I don't know what to say but...Thanks."
"No problems. I would never let anyone get eaten during my watch." Ian said, and raised out a hand for his friends to help him up.
"Did you kept filming during the whole thing?" Sverrir asked as Ian took the camera off his head.
"Seems like so." Ian said, chuckling a little over that fact.
"What shall we do with it?" Sverrir asked.
"What we where suppose to do with it in the first place. Take it back to our university and earn our grades." Ian said, and they both laughed, happy over to have made it through the night. And the final thing that the final Vlog captured was the sun rising up before Ian turned off the powers to save the batteries.
