So it is finally done. All 11 thousand words and 54 pages of it! This took over 2 weeks to write, and it is definitely my masterpiece. It chronicles the story of how my fursona, Sauriel came to be. As I put myself on the story I tried my hand at some first person writing, let me know how bad it is :P

I try to write a review.
Well, the detail of the transformation (James) is very nice and the process is not to fast forward. You really have hand for this. But i have also something to complain about. I hope you don't mind some critique. To my opinion, the story lacks a little bit in depth. The story with the orcas, you wrote earlier was much better. But otherwise, the story was good. :)

Komodo dragon is actually going to be in the next one.
Cynthia doesn't remember anything of her old fear. She has gotten over it for obvious reasons. All my subjects in the Serpens do remember their human life, but they couldn't imagine returning to it.
About Chris and Karina...I don't think they are friends with Cynthia and Hercules. They've never really met, and are on different continents.

No problem, I love questions about my work. Couples are a big part of my writings, so there is a very good chance :) Serpens is a Reptilian God bent on world domination, the people he transform all end up happier in the end because in this universe, everyone has a reptilian personality somewhere inside them. So even if he scares them as a human, they will get over it once they are scaly.

No they do not have the same intelligence. They are more in line with normal snakes. But yes, Cynthia and Hercules guard their young fiercely. They have some serpentine bodyguards of their own, in fact these bodyguards came from humans that intruded on their layer, ones that did not head the laws to stay away from florida.
Just as fun as the other Serpens stories :)
I noticed a few mistakes with the first person writing, though. There were tidbits like "Serpens stared at the man", "call off his guards", and "felt an itching in his hand", which were a bit confusing until I realized what they were meant to say.

I got confused when reading these chapters, hopefully I'm not nitpicking. It says at chapter 11 that the grey raptor Eris, was attracted to James, then fell asleep. However, in Chapter 14, when James woke up the raptor is now named Nalia. Did you accidentally forgot her name? Or that's what the humans named her Eris, and her real name is Nalia?
If you could respond to this confusing question, that'll be nice for all of us.
