Best Seat in the House
When Gebbu's not sleeping, eating or lazing around being a fatass he's a total jerk. Especially to Enigma...who seems to be the dragon's favourite cushion ;)

I've been wanting to see this for a while, all finished and wonderful, well done! I remember you saying you wanted to give Gebbu a more creative shape than just a "barrel" and for sure, his body has more shape and definition. His belly is being weighted down which I think is the biggest move forward in his design, however, that rotund, hippopotamus-belly shape is still there and still works. It's just better with the physics of the fat. It's more complex and better for it, I say.
Great perspective from the rear view, certainly. Gebbu's butt is unsurprisingly the first thing I saw. His belly obstructing view from his front legs is as it should be. Good stuff. No problems for me there.
Of course the scenario is one I love, as you know. Getting the size difference can be a nuisance if the smaller character becomes difficult to detail (or in the other case, the macro so large that you can only draw a part of their body). You've struck a fine balance here to make it a very appealing piece for butt lovers, squashing fans and macro/micro fans alike. Plus that difference in size just makes Gebbu seem more dominating. Perfect.
Totally wonderful piece, bud. And actually, I'm kinda grateful no extra butt detail (catch my drift) is included. I don't think it's necessary all the time and for a totally innocent squashing piece like this, good on you.

Ah yes, I was excited to show you the first sketch and I was just as eager to get the finished version out for you to see! It's undergone a few changes and as you know it used to look quite...different, but with things like "the extra detail" I felt like they weren't actually needed and I think the change was for the better.
I'm glad you like his bodyshape upgrade - his figure is something I've struggled with for a while trying to get the perfect balance between being ridiculously fat yet not being "just a circle" - I think I'm on the right track here. I'll draw a new full-body pic of him standing (he does have energy!) to try to see how that goes, I think thinner (in Gebbu terms...) from his chest/breast up to his head and then being bottom heavy from the belly onwards works best.
Thanks about the size difference! With the lard-ass being 40ft tall it can often be hard to show him interacting with things while still maintaining his scale...or fitting him onto the page at that haha. Obviously he's sitting here (though not yet fully so Enigma has that to look forward to ;D) but if he stood up I think the size difference would be sticking to the canon.
And yes that's a lot of butt, no surprise it's the first thing to attract your eyes!

Well, you can always trust this butt-lover's verdict, I hope! Delivering honest answers since 2012. ^^
I like your new idea for his body shape. I think that bottom-heavy look would work well! Fat accumulating around the chest is far less than that of around the belly and interpreting that with Gebbu's posture is a great start. Please, by all means send me any WIPs you do so I can critique and provide advice!
Yeah, I'll say it again: it's amazing how you fit such a size difference onto the canvas without compromising the overall quality of the piece. Your work, as you know, I herald for fine attention to detail and even with this sort of size difference, you're still sticking to that. Just amazing.
