When up against models of heavier tonnage, the Firefly doesn't stand a chance due to its moderate speed and "pop-gun" weaponry. At least it can survive such an onslaught, however, thanks to its jump jets and maximized armor. Against 'Mechs equal to or less than itself, the Firefly excels. Using a small LRM rack to soften up its foes, the Firefly patiently comes after and ambushes unsuspecting prey with its array of medium and small lasers.
