Yes I had to draw a roly-poly someone as one. I'm just really glad the big fat ones are like "god" chocobos, that makes my day, LMAO

I don't mind FF8, I like the summoning system where fixating on a certain element makes them faster, and that it works kinda-sorta like pokemon, where the GFs can take hits for you.

I think people just don't like it because it reminds them of high school.

Ah man I enjoy a lot about it but i will admit it has flaws haha. The story takes such a weird sudden divebomb into romance and things get so awkward...
But oh man I love the GFs , monsters, and the idea of junctioning magic to stats. Such a neat idea!

I did too ;w; Replaying it, the plot is a lot cringier than I remembered lmao, but it's got so many good things about it that I'm just sort of ignoring squall/rinoa stuff and am playing it for the fun of the battle and awesome monsters

I really liked Laguna's story line. The junction system was refreshing, as well as the draw system. it was nice not having to worry about MP and you can cast spells more or less without ever really worrying about any form of a resource cost. i actually bought it a few months back for steam and im eventually going to replay it again (i think this makes replay #7 or 8). although i get the joy of failing at boosting, enjoying triple triad up until the random rule comes into effect, and the never ending search for energy crystals in the late game.

YEAH I love Laguna! He kinda is the main reason I still care about the game's story after the ragnarok lmao. But yeah, I really loved the idea of spells essentially being your "armor" for stat boosts and using the GFs and their abilities to pump you up. (Not to mention their designs aaaaa!!)
Yeah though oh my god timing boosts is painful. I'm really impatient and usually screw up LFSDKLFskl. Triple triad I really love until same/plus happens, oh my god. I guess you can abolish rules but ain't got time fo' dat.

OH energy crystals yeah... I think I just used the Enoyle spawn in Esthar over and over to get em. Quicker than working with ruby dragons or behemoths anyway, fskdlhfsl.
