That one is a male. The males have big heads, while the females backsides are slightly larger.

I can assure you that Fluff is a female H.Giganteus. Males are smaller, have longer legs and are glossy black in colour:

Ah okay, I stand corrected. The jumping spiders in my area are different. Only way to tell them apart are that the males have bigger heads.

I don't usually like spiders, even smaller ones freak me out but I have t admit, jumping spiders have some cute faces. I think it helps that they have two very prominent eyes and they are more compact looking, usually bunched up. Makes them look cuter.
