My submission in honor of Saint Patrick's day - an Irish selkie plays a tune on a pipe before joining his fellows in the waves.
After seeing Tomm Moore's *beautiful* film 'Song of the Sea,' I knew I had to do a selkie image. If you want some music to go with looking at this, I suggest the theme song from the movie, or the Moody Blues' 'Celtic Sonant.'
Or, if you want to go more traditional, 'Ban Chnoic Erin O.'

I had to drive 30 miles to see the Song of the Sea yesterday, in a snow storm, but it was well worth it. Thanks for the heads-up several months back. Maine being the end of the line rarely gets the indie films. The indie theater that I'd normally expect to get it, didn't this time, or at least, not yet. If they do, I'll probably go see it again. Definately ordering it on DVD too. Then again, I liked that company's last film, Secret of Kells, also. Beautiful style/artwork.
I saw the trailer for that movie and thought... Huh... I'm intrigued. So I hopped onto netflix and watched "The Secret of Kells" (just yesterday), which is the same studio or director or somethin'. Welp, turns out I liked it. Guess I'll like this one too!
Very nicely done. :D
