The Darkstalkers series is MUCH more popular amongst Japanesse fans. And Morrigan, Felicia, Hsein-Ko, Anakaris and Jedah are the most popular over there. Jedah was said to be too difficult to animate in 3D with his attacks and all. Don't know why Anak didn't return, Morrigan and Felicia are in because the Jap fans love them ( as do I ) and they voted Hsein-Ko in. Characters like Talbain are loved by America fans, but there's so few of us that buisness wise it makes lil sense to cater to what American Darkstalkers fans want. Hence male characters being shafted. But hey Demetri and Talbain were at least alt skins for Vergil and Amertaratsu
