When I went to A-kon 2010, I had no idea the author of The Last Unicorn, Peter S. Beagle, was going to be there. Beagle's movie became my favorite when I was a child, and it was the starting point of my art and stories, my love for fantasy and imagination. I explained this to him, and he said he was happy to see that his works were inspiring others. You can imagine how ecstatic I was to meet him in person!

I bought his book Mirror Kingdoms which contains "Two Hearts," the sequel to The Last Unicorn, and his signature as well! He was also interested in seeing the costume I made...

So I came back as Wing and got a picture with him too! He gave me a rather motivating talk on not letting go of what you really love doing; he came from a family of artists and that's what let him know that becoming a freelance writer was possible... Eeeh! He's such a cool person! =)
