I decided to do some personal art to brush up on my digital coloring skills before diving into commissions.
Woot! I have a new MURRsona! I still have bowrll, but I really wanted a character with.. you know. Arms and legs? And perhaps ears and a tail? xD
Anyways, she is an Owston's palm civet. Normally those guys are pretty long and thin, but Sœrl is kinda chubby and has a short torso. I'm not too sure about her eyes yet.
I got the name from the name I chose for my character in DQ: Swords. I really liked the name, heh.
I wanted a more girly character than bowrll. :< I get tired of being a tomboy sometimes.
No jokes about coffee or poop plz. ;_;

Dang! Fresh off the pages and I'm already like... soooooo infatuated! I think it's the lost look in her eyes that demands a helping hand and a kind touch... or it could be the adorable plushy.
P.S. I don't really find the use of hands when you've got other helpful appendages.

Just.. drawing bowrll seriously gets kind of difficult when I have to draw her in a hoodie all the time. :C Not that bowrll isn't fully capable with her body and hoodie arms. :P
The way I drew the eyes.. I can't decide if they're so big they're scary, or if they're cute or not. I think she might have had a little mako poisoning at some point in her life.

I would consider that a challenge, me, just like if I actually drew, I would have to draw Minnie's ugly mug. Get creative! I would love to see Bowrll in a bikini! ... ... at the same time, I do understand the need for breaks.
And I'll say this much about the eyes - if she decides to make a creepy voice, I'm going to slowly back away.
