(Angry cat grabs backstage and eats the mice, who are out of sight from the audience and goes back to sleep)
Lykat - Puss! You're sleeping on the job! Vancoufur is in chaos and you're acting like Garfield on Zanax! The fox gangs are biting the horses, dragons are roaming free and the Cruxes aren't paying for their commissions! You're the one thing inbetween order and complete-
Puss - I almost had him!
Lykat - .. Had who?
Puss - That rat! He was just in my grasp!
Lykat - .. You mean the Rancid rodant? The Knawing Nuisance? The unarrestable pest?
Puss - No, it's this annoying rat, I get close to nabbing him and then right before I do you wake me up!
Lykat - .. Well sorry for interrupting your sleeptime but I HAVE A TOWN TO PROTECT! As the city's police commissioner I order you to start doing your job!
Puss - Look wolf-face: I've been doing my job. I found that missing cat nip, executed that menacing black rat!
Lykat - You ate the black rat and he was the Vancoufur judge! And the cat nip wasn't missing until you stole it!
Puss - If you wanna get nit picky on the details I might as well do nothing!
Lykat - You haven't done anything! That's it, I've had it! You're fired! No more meow mix for you! You'll never work here again! I don't wanna ever see you in this building ever again.
Puss - .. no more meow mix? (gives manipulative look)
Lykat - Don't you give me that luck! It won't work!
Puss - (purrs and rubs his head against his shin and hand)
Lykat - I'm not so easily manipulated by your- Aww, lookie that! So cute! And purring. Okay fine! you're not fired.
Puss - Meow! I won't let you down!
Lykat - You better not! Or I'll have to fire you a 6th time! Now go fight crime! Save our city! Long Live Vancoufur!
Puss - I know my first assignment already.
Lykat - You do?
Puss - Find the missing laser pointer!
