D'awwwww, they're adorable! ^^ I've always loved snakes! Definitely one of my favorite animals!

I, , am a very very avid snake lover. I am always researching the ones I don't know about and it makes me feel happy but nerdy XD I love Sand boas though, as well as hognoses and ball pythons.

I had a ball python once. Unfortunately, he ended up dying because I didn't know much on how to take care of him, even though we got advice from PetSmart. Though, it was also because my parents didn't quite understand what the associate had told them, so we put both a heat lamp and a heating pad in his tank and essentially gave him no place to cool off. =/ Only learned about that after the fact, though.

Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against Petsmart or Petco in general, but not all of their employees are well informed. Lamps and heat pads can go together but it depends on the size of your tank and how warm the room they are staying in. I used just heating pads on my ball pythons and paired lamps during the winter time [usually low watts]. I am sorry for the lost of your pet dear.

Yeah, it wasn't a very big tank, so it was pretty much hot everywhere. If I ever do get another, I'll probably do one or the other. After actually researching them more first, of course. Regardless, it doesn't make these two any less adorable and it sounds like they're lucky to have an owner like you. =3
