The restaurant was very busy. Waiters moved in fast pace this way and that. Everyone was wearing green to be in tune with the day. But St. Patrick's Day isn't why the pair sitting at the corner booth was out. “Happy Birthday Luck." said Sly raising a toast to the feline sitting across from him. "Thanks Sly. It's nice of you to bring me to my favorite restaurant." replied Luck. “How could I not? This is your day and I want you to enjoy it." said the wolfox with a smile as the waiter arrived with their food. Luck could only smile in return as she clinked her glass with the males’. "Sly has been like this as long as I’ve known him. He dotes on me and 'Neki constantly. Always making sure we know that we’re valued and thought about without asking for much in return. It came as a big change after the way we were treated at the orphanage. I'm still getting used to it honestly. I wonder what else he has in store for me today." she thought as they began to eat.
"I've always wanted to play this game. This one too..." said Luck excitedly as she picked over the game display racks at Game World. Sly stood behind her holding a huge stack of games she's already handed him with a slightly worried look on his face. Luck turned to see it and chuckled to herself at the sight. "I'm sorry Sly I just got excited. I know I'm only getting one, and I'll choose from the ones I've handed you." she clarified. "Actually the store is having a sale. Buy two and get one free. So you can choose three games." said Sly. Luck' face lit up brighter than he's ever seen it after hearing that. "Thank you thank you thank you Sly!" she said excitedly as she went back to choosing her titles. Sly smiled as she did, noticing a very faint glow around her neck. The necklace she usually wore was glowing and changing shape. It became a green collar as she continued unnoticed. Luck always had a less than bright outlook on a lot of things, so these little lapses in her usual demeanor were always a treat to witness. He returned to holding the games and began to separate them on the floor to make choosing for her easier when she was finally ready to.

We continue the day with Sly treating Luck to a couple of her favorite things. Her favorite restaurant, and new videogames. Looks like it's a good birthday for Luck so far. As before this piece was done by
shana and came out very nicely. Love the expressions here and the idea that she went with for it. It's very cute.

Awwwww..... Just, awwww~ Sly's such a sweetheart, and it's really beautiful seeing these two interact, more so seeing Lucky (I can call her that, right? I mean, we ain't even close xs) so happy is literally making me smile. Her necklace glowing is also another interesting treat, and already I'm bouncing on my toes to see what comes next.

I am glad you regard my writing so highly. On the inverse when I see you've commented on something I've written I save your comment for last as I know it'll be well thought out and a joy to read. Luck being happy is kinda new to being shown, but I had to show that she is happy since accepting Sly as her Master. It's mentioned before in the "Autumn Stroll" description as well.
Again, fantastic job as usual Sly. I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's nice to see an everyday scene like this especially with Luck and Sly as I don't see them interact very much. It's good to see how kind Sly can be to his pets and this is the kind of difference I like to see from the norm. I can relate this directly to the characters in my story; Zach, Anon and Inigo. This would be the kind of scene I'd love to portray, keep it up and I can't wait to see the next part. Have a good evening and again, enjoy the convention
