Love this piece I ordered from Heather Bruton, it hangs in the bathroom with an original Terrie Smith. I like it because it shows how bucks have to tolerate and humor the opposite sex in order to keep them happy.
They're a cute couple and just playful, but he's wondering if he could be doing something else. She's having a good time and that's OK, we gotta keep em happy. I showed this to a non fur and he thought she was screwing his backside, I said "look into the story" , it's not dirty at all, in fact, you want to see dirty deer art? Go to a hunt camp cabin, there's so much sexual deer stuff, worse then Furs.

Not me, not dirty at all, but you're right, some do. She's playful, like a loving couple. I guess I tried to imagine myself as the buck, with his expression he thinks its all "girly" stuff, and annoying, but better to have a Doe who's cute and silly, then one who's a crank.
I made the "in heat" comment not to degrade the piece any, it's just that most deer are concerned about eating and mating. For all we know she is in heat, that would explain the playful attitude, I know from watching our deer outside they rarely associate with the Bucks until they are convinced by bodily functions.
I love it, and it hangs on our wall to see every day.

I salute you, for I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this. xD Usually I bide my time browsing FA looking at stuff to tear apart mentally, but this is actually really nice! Textures are very well done, the human/animal ratio is right on, and the overall composition and subject matter are very well executed! Awesome work!
