A little sculpt I did to use as a reference when drawing Fraiva. As I develop my skills with drawing, I have been improving my fursona, but this presents new challenges when drawing at different angles. This little model will help me get an idea where everything is with different views as well as help me understand how light and shadow play on her face.
It's not 100% perfect and I've never worked with clay before, but I've watched my brother sculpt and remember the little hints and tips he threw my way to keep conversation as he worked. ^.=.^
Thanks little bro!
This was sculpted with a crunchy aluminum foil center (to help keep shape and keep me from using my entire block of clay) PolyForm Model Air clay and a small assortment of sculpting tools.
