The bass synth is a harmless preset I made. Just a simple saw bass sorta with some light chorus and equalization to favor the lower end.
It is however compressed and boosted on the low end, combined with some box reverb that gives it depth and some other generic compressors for fuzzyness.
The image more or less tries to explain the system for master and bass added effects and sidechaining.
The kick has a secondary channel it sends to that doesn't send to master, and contains a eq that takes of most of the mass of the kick to make it more sharp. This one send sidechain data to the sidechain channel which all synths go thru before the master channel to make sure the synths do not mess with the kick.

See, that is something I need to do to my mixes to make them even sound remotely professional, but my Laptop cannot handle any of that. It clips, pops, freezes etc etc.
I need to get a better Laptop, but oh well, I'll make do since I do not have the funds to buy another.
