You're gone

You self loathe
How could this all be?

Weak
Vulnerable
Hurt
Cold
Accept
Put behind
Move on
Be bold
Others may say
but only you can do
Assemble the pieces
Plan and move on
Fragile you may be
Strength you may lack
But you must move on
or all hope will be gone
Beyond us is unknown
Within us is much to learn
Commitment is the hammer
Perseverance is the nail
Start anew
Shed the shackles of the past
Accept what is meant to be will be
and you will never truly fail

It makes me very happy that you enjoyed this poem. I felt this beautiful work of Coco Pommel as a foal certainly worked great in showing how it is possible to restart even after an ongoing series of negative experiences. (In Coco's case it would be all the time spent with Suri Polomare that was more negative than positive towards bringing her the life she wanted)
