I love this pairing so much and it's prolly the third time I've drawn them but I cant help it D:
Was originally colored with thier actual colors...but turned the color layer off and the shading layer by itself was...purty. So I left it :D
I have this scenario in my head where Raikou is pretty rampant and angry still so he's off by himself (since he represents the lighting that cause everything to go wrong) and suicune still breaks down sometimes over thier past death. Entei acts like a protective figure for suicune, considering himself responsible for thier actual deaths, since he represents the fire that killed them.

Such a tasteful moment, I love it!
The Legendary Beasts all have a special place in my heart. Even though I didn't play those games, the first time I saw them in the opening of the Johto episodes, something clicked inside me.
I really cannot choose. Altough Suicune was the first to be featured in that first Johto episode, so being the first to actually leave a big impression in me. As for Raikou and Entei... I just wish, they were given more love by people.

I think Entei gets a decent amount of love :o As far as Raikou goes, I think it's largely overlooked because their design is a bit harsh to look at and it's the only one Nintendo hasn't depicted as "sentient" I guess. Suicune was depicted as very calm and peaceful in it's corresponding movie, and Entei was depicted as protective and kind. But Raikou hasn't been depicted as anything other than a "beast" if I recall correctly.
