Volunteer or not, Im sure they want to be somewhere else right now.
First person views have there pros and cons such as convincingly pulling of the perspective and giving the view points hands a generic enough look for everyones to associate with to some degree.
Of course it lends a much better sense of being there as a result which is always great.

Fantastic. Those pawpads are perfectly plump and ripe for smooth and sharp claws to glide across those rolling hills once they are done maliciously scribbling across those heels. Those hands are so devious, that person is lucky to be tickling a sensitive pair of feet like that. The big toes are helplessly tied back, making the ball of the foot tight, and exposing between the toe too. And so, the lucky pair of helpless feet attached to the helpless fur in question, gets to feel all sorts of sensations as they are trapped behind those stocks. Fingers, and toes against their feet to tickle them, hands to massage them and the toenails.....lips to kiss them....tongue to lick all over those ticklish and tasty looking paws....nose pressed to sniff, mouth to suckle those plump toes, face to nuzzle...and so much more as the reciever barely registers what the heck is going on down. 0/////0
