The one thing you can reliably predict about working in the minimum wage socio-economic stratum, is that sooner or later, you'll be reminded once again that you are always wearing knee-pads, even if they're invisible to anyone other than your superiors.

Well written. I took time to really digest the message, and it makes me wonder. I have a minimum wage job, but it's (hopefuly) temporary and I don't think that these feelings have affected me at all. When you first started working, were you trampled on like this? Or is this something that came from years of working different jobs?

The cracks and holes of poisoning your résumé, for starters. Too many minimum wage jobs past the age of 30 are not only a red flag to potential employers, but are in fact, a wailing klaxon that tells them that minimum wage is obviously the only thing you're good for, otherwise, you'd have pulled yourself up by your own bootstraps long before now.
Likewise, it erodes your self confidence over time, which is yet another red-flag, which serves to keep you right where you are.
