I made his family background similar to Peter Capaldi's, only substituting Italian for Norwegian. And there's a bit of Norwegian influence in Scottish history, Norwegians holding Scottish lordships. A Norwegian princess even became Queen of Scots at one point (She was only a little girl and she drowned on the way to her coronation, but still...).

Anyway, I'm toying with the idea of having Mus cosplay as one of the earlier Doctors in my next piece. Any suggestions? I have a shortlist of likely candidates, as follows: Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Ninth. (I considered Seventh and Tenth as well, but they're probably too obvious)

I noticed in that list that you didn't include either the Sixth, War Doctor, or the Eighth one. Any reason for those two not in consideration?

Well, Six's outfit is a bit involved. Plus I'm hoping to include a Sonic Screwdriver (which Six didn't have). I've nothing against the War Doctor; quite the contrary, I really loved John Hurt's performance. But, to be fair, he only had that one full appearance. As to Eight, I haven't really seen the one he's in.

Most of the ones I listed were the strongest influences on Twelve's character (I substituted Two for One because the Screwdriver was introduced during Two's tenure). The reason I figured Seven and Ten were too obvious is that, like Twelve, both their actors are Scottish.

OK. Well, makes perfect sense to me. As to your original question, well, I'd say the fourth as, IMHO, he was THE best Doctor ever.

As you can imagine, the scarf was the tricky part.

That looks great. I think you did real well on the scarf. And yes, I can imagine it was hard to do.

Yeah, I had to track down the correct pattern (I decided to use the City of Death look), and then came the tricky part: the actual colouring-in. I actually sort of screwed up one end, made that beige bit bigger than I should have done, but all in all, I think I did quite well.

I'm sure no one is going to be THAT picky and fault you for one LITTLE detail like that. If they do, they need a life.
