
They know what those kind of ships mean, they heard of the things that happened in the plane of the multiverse they came from; they seem to arrive with peace but it is only a matter of time before they bring the conflicts of their people to this plane.

I've read about the star seed and indigo child concepts in the past.
It makes sense from the perspective of a civilization who wants to ease a formerly isolated civilization into communication and meeting of a space-faring one or group/alliance/community of such civilizations.
But in any case, if there are many people who like the idea of alien life and civilizations, and they create works of art and entertainment that encourages others to consider a viewpoint about extraterrestrial life different from "evil that can't be reasoned with", such as what Hollywood's likes to lazily characterize, humanity could be a little bit ahead in the will to communicate and form relationships with alien civilizations if the time ever comes of open interaction with an alien civilization before humanity would disappear from existence one way or another.
