I'm not gonna lie, This one was super difficult to do for me and I think I totally lost control of the piece.
I was going for gate into a giant rose field.. But all my roses looked like crap and decided to blur them.. only for that too also not go to well.
In Short.. Dreamsinscareden, If you are on unsatisfied and would like a something else drawn from me, please note me and after this round of commissions I will do it. I NORMALLY DON'T OFFER THIS! But I normally don't lose control of my painting. So my most humbled apologies!

Sometimes control isn't always the best thing. It makes more sense for the background to be blurred in this image because the focus seems to be on the character rather than whats behind him.
I think it looks great, and even if it isn't what you were originally going for, that seems to have been for the best! ^.=.^

Oh man, I didn't see this, sorry skal. I mean.. I like to have control of my image a lot or I feel like its a total failed piece(Like I think this one kinda is). Maybe it was for the best. But if the commissioner didn't like it or needed changes then it would have been pretty problematic haha!
i think its funny.. when we (artists) think something is not up to par and the other eyes think it is fantastic

i like the idea of roses but i think they would have made the piece too busy, losing the focus on the main subject

Isn't the weird! Like how we will upload something we spent a lot of time on and its gets no views, yet something we didn't even care about got all the views and fav's! Its pretty weird, iv'e never really got why myself!
Well, thanks for the compliments Kolae! means a lot! Maybe the roses would have made it busy but the blur to me just makes the field seems so.. "abstract"
