I did this pic back on my summer vacations (december, yeah seasons where I live are shifted, and yeah Santa comes in christmas in the mid summer and all sweaty.... yuck!!)
The original painting work was done on Painter X, and the adjust on Photoshop CS3.

Nicely done, very nicely done. As others have already said, the detail on the foreground and blur elsewhere gives a real sense of both depth and movement - really looks as though he's about to fly clear through the front of my monitor. Which while cool...would be rather undesirable as it would mean I'd need a new monitor...
Really like the brushed look of the detail too - really adds to the whole dynamic feel of the image I think.
Definitely putting that on my favs list I think!
