Before anything else can be said I must point out that this sketch was produced and given a soul to by this song.. Not in any official capacity, but only in the rich tone it set which got my pencil moving.
It's not often in the pursuit of online roleplay that you'll actually 'conclude' a characters story arc. Most characters are conceived, exploited to the hilt- then abandoned to be forgotten in the putrescent stream of filth that is various ancient MUCK backlogs and kink profiles with stolen art that accumulate through the years. Much like the dead floating in the Ganges River.
Ollie is a character I've had going for years- who, after having endured my own awkward struggle through life- has come out on HIS other end having achieved something.
An ending.
I'm one committed to the notion that you should only take a character as far as the ideas stretch- not the character. Knowing most characters people invent are more like poster boards for the projection of various ideas- putting a trajectory on one through the years has been tricky, and much like life itself- the end result was very much unexpected but not altogether unwelcome.
Ollie the Raccoon, a tap dancing singer/dancer turned stagehand has gotten married and had a kid with a marsupial mommy- and just like that, his life is not his own anymore. Settled into quiet domesticity- the couple live life quietly in a small apartment packed with horror memorabilia and audio equipment. The marsupial stays at home and the Raccoon goes off to the convention center to work and bring in money.
And this is all just fine.

I like this and I like your dedication to playing out long stories and characters. They really do take on a life of their own if you give them a chance.

Your picture captures everything you mentioned about the story. So much character in this one. I love the minor touches, like the overlapping posters and the cracks in the wall. And hey, you draw pretty cute babies, too!
