on the right is the stencil i use now (i had more, but i used them to death x3)...its black from making cards with fountain pen ink...the blue paw print is the anterior side of the dollar bill posted here ----> http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16074440/ i really like using the sharpies because they bleed through to the other side and i think it looks really cool. india ink, parker fountain pen ink, etc. doesnt bleed through a dollar bill. also it smudges, so i usually put a piece of clear packaging tape over it if im using the black ink.
im all about graffiti, if anyone feels like making one and pasting them everywhere, id be overjoyed. it could be like a new fad; all the cool kiddies are doing it. ;p ...okay, there is a certain pretentiousness to street art that wasnt there ten years ago. dont be cool kids! be totally fucking uncool. it makes life more interesting <3
i'm absolutely in lovee with banksy, for example, and since SHE (i firmly believe banksy is a woman) started making shit-tons of money, people stopped liking her art -just because- it was no longer underground, no longer "street art", its gallery art now. but thats not a valid reason, in my opinion, for shitting on her work. shit, if its beautiful, if its evocative and makes you think or feel, who cares what the price tag looks like (unless youre the one buying it, or coveting it ;p)? ...one of my favorite banksy pieces has a price tag hanging off it, priced £100,000, and theres a stick figure looming over it looking puzzled it, with a bubble over his head saying "WTF?" or "seriously??" ...or something to that effect.
now that i think about it, i should go to some sites ive tagged up with cats cats cats cats, and post it up here :P ive made some pretty elaborate stencils. its...kinda relevant, if any of this furry business, or graffiti business -is- actually relevant at all. mreh.
