I recently finished a commission for a set of OC pony ears and horns to go with a cosplay ensemble she is working together for a convention. They are made with "Tiffany" colored Cuddle 3 Minky. I had some photos of them on a black velvet head but the color drowned out - switched it out for some caramel colored fabric and the aqua color came through much better.

I believe the commissioner will be pinning or sewing these to a wig. They have a sturdy turquoise felt bottom with a loop for either putting on a narrow headband, or elastic. The loops could be used for bobby pins. I was attempting to make them versatile. When I make cosplay ears for myself I end up hand sewing them carefully to clear elastic to tie over a wig or my own hair for different looks.

I designed the pattern for these. I am calling this style "version one" as I am still tinkering with different looks and methods of putting them together.
